About me

I was born in 1980, in Nitra. I grew up in the Chrenová housing estate in Nitra, where I also went to primary school on Levická Street. After finishing elementary school, I entered the Golianova Grammar school in Nitra.

Since I was fond of computers since childhood, I already had my first Commodore 64 computer (later Amiga 500 and 1200) in the early 90s, and I learned the very basics of Basic programming on them. At the Grammar school, I signed up for the programming class, where we had 2 hours of programming per week. It was in the 90s, we programmed in Turbo Pascal, we learned to make flowcharts, then to program various simple programs according to them, to use procedures and functions, they solved various alrithms for sorting sequences, matrices, simple graphic elements, etc. After finishing high school, I also briefly worked in the 3D Studio Max R3 program.

After high school, I entered the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra, Faculty of Mechanization, with a focus on computerization and automation in agriculture. After graduating from university, I found my first job in the well-known software company NRSYS Nitra, which, among other things, supplies software for most pharmacies in Slovakia. I was a "software applicator" there, in practice it meant that I visited the company's customers, where I took care of their software, it meant installing updates, making adjustments according to customer requirements, removing errors and software malfunctions, etc. It was mainly about business and warehouse records, at that time it still ran under DOS, it was then mainly database management in the FoxPro program.

I stayed at NRSYS for less than a year, from there I moved to MaH Nitra, where I worked as a vehicle salesman. After less than two years, I joined a hardware store. I worked there as a co-owner until May 2024, when we closed it down.

In 2023, in addition to the hardware store, together with a friend, we founded an e-shop with fishing supplies, later also with feed, which we still operate through shoptet.
